CAMROSE KODIAKS DEFENCEMAN DYLAN BIDYK COMMITS TO GRANT MACEWAN UNIVERSITY
Camrose, AB – July 14, 2025 — The Camrose Kodiaks are pleased to announce that defenceman Dylan Bidyk (born 2004) has officially committed to the Grant MacEwan Griffins to continue his academic and hockey career at the U Sports level.
Bidyk brings significant experience to the Griffins, having played in over 200 career AJHL games, and most recently recording 26 points in 57 games during the 2024–25 season split between the Kodiaks and the Devon Xtreme. Acquired via trade from Devon in December, he immediately assumed a vital role on Camrose’s blue line.
“Dylan showed up every day with the work ethic and drive that made those around him better,” said GM Eric Kroetch. “That kind of maturity and leadership comes from a player who’s logged over 200 junior games. I couldn’t be more happy for Dylan and his family”
