Camrose Kodiaks to Host Special Olympics Night Honouring Local Athletes

Camrose, AB – The Camrose Kodiaks are proud to announce our upcoming Special Olympics Night on Saturday, January 18th at the Encana Arena, as we face off against the Lloydminster Bobcats at 6:00 PM. This special evening is presented by GENVAC Services and will celebrate and honour the incredible athletes of Special Olympics Camrose.

In recognition of their achievements, all Special Olympics athletes & caretakers will receive free entry to the game. We invite the community to join us in showing support for these remarkable individuals and creating an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.

“This night is about celebrating inclusion, perseverance, and the outstanding spirit of Special Olympics athletes,” said Kodiaks Operations Coordinator, Kohen Willis Dengler. “We are thrilled to partner with GENVAC Services to bring this event to life and honour the athletes who inspire us all.”

The evening will feature:

  • Ceremonial Puck Drop
  • Special Olympics athletes chosen for throughout the game for in game activities
  • Opportunities for fans to honour these athletes

The Kodiaks encourage fans to come early, wear their Kodiaks gear, and take part in this celebration of community spirit.
