🚨‼ DRUMMOND COMMITS ‼🚨
The Camrose Kodiaks are excited to announce that 2006 born forward Deacon Drummond has committed to the University of Victoria Vikes (BCIHL) for the 2026-27 season.
The West Vancouver native joined the Kodiaks organization last season and quickly became a reliable presence on and off the ice. Deacon’s character, and commitment to improving his game have helped him earn the opportunity to continue both his hockey and academic career at the next level.
Drummond shared, “I want to thank my family, teammates, billets, coaches, and the entire Kodiaks organization for all of their support throughout my journey. I’m extremely excited and grateful for the opportunity to continue my hockey and academic career at the UVic.”
Kodiaks General Manager Eric Kroetch added, “Deacon has been a great addition to our organization and someone our staff could always count on. We are very proud of Deacon for earning this opportunity and look forward to following his success moving forward.”
