Transaction | Kodiaks Acquire Keegan Beagle (D)

CAMROSE — The Camrose Kodiaks have acquired defenceman Keegan Beagle from the Drumheller Dragons in exchange for Bradley Gallo and a Player Development Fee (PDF).

Beagle, 19, brings experience and reliability to the Kodiaks’ blue line. Born in Rimbey, Alberta, Beagle stands at 5’11” and weighs 170 lbs, shooting right.

Over his tenure with the Drumheller Dragons, Beagle has demonstrated his skill and tenacity:

  • 2021-22 Season: Appeared in 2 regular-season games and 4 playoff games, recording 1 goal in the playoffs.
  • 2022-23 Season: Played 44 regular-season games, contributing 3 goals and 9 assists for 12 points, with 28 penalty minutes. In the playoffs, he appeared in 10 games.
  • 2023-24 Season: Participated in 57 regular-season games, adding 2 goals and 9 assists for 11 points, accumulating 88 penalty minutes. In the playoffs, he recorded 3 points in 9 games.

With over 100 AJHL games, Beagle’s consistent performance, experience, and defensive acumen will be valuable assets to the Kodiaks as they aim for a successful season.
