We are committed to providing our athletes with exceptional coaching and support to help them achieve their goals both on and off the ice. As part of
our ongoing commitment to excellence, we are currently seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our coaching staff as an Assistant Coach.
Position Overview:
Seeking an Assistant Coach to support our Head Coach in all aspects of team development and performance. The Assistant Coach will play a crucial role in
planning and executing training sessions, analyzing game strategies, and providing guidance and mentorship to our players.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist the Head Coach in developing and implementing practice plans and game strategies.
– Provide on-ice instruction and skill development sessions to enhance player performance.
– Analyze game footage and provide constructive feedback to players to facilitate improvement.
– Actively participate in all team events
– Mentor players both on and off the ice, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
– Assist with scouting and recruitment efforts to identify talented prospects for the team.
– Support the Head Coach in managing team logistics and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
– Previous elite level playing/coaching experience
– Sound knowledge of hockey fundamentals, strategies, and tactics.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with players, staff, and management.
– Dedication to player development and a passion for supporting athletes in reaching their full potential.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate team schedules and travel requirements.
– Valid coaching certifications or willingness to obtain required certifications prior to the start of the season.
