Camrose, AB – The Camrose Kodiaks are excited to announce the signing of Miles Copeland, a promising defenseman from Calgary, Alberta, for the 2025/26 season. Copeland, who joined the team as an affiliate player during the Kodiaks’ playoff run this past season, will now join the team full-time and contribute to the team’s defense.
At 5’10” and 165 lbs, Copeland is a skilled, two-way defenseman who brings both offensive and defensive strengths to the ice. During the 2024-25 season with the Calgary Royals U18 AAA, he played in 27 regular season games, recording 4 goals and 14 assists for 18 points and 16 penalty minutes. Copeland’s ability to move the puck and contribute to the offense makes him a versatile player in all situations. In the playoffs, he showed his playmaking abilities with 3 assists in 4 games.
