Kodiaks Sign Defenseman Ryland Molde for 2025/26 Season

Camrose, AB – The Camrose Kodiaks are thrilled to announce the signing of Ryland Molde, a highly skilled defenseman from Mortlach, Saskatchewan, for the 2025/26 season. Molde joins the Kodiaks after an outstanding season with Prairie Hockey Academy U18 Prep in the CSSHL, where he recorded 7 goals and 29 assists for 36 points in 35 games. His stellar play earned him a spot on the CSSHL U18 First All-Star Team, further showcasing his abilities as one of the top defensemen in the league. Molde also impressed in the playoffs, contributing 1 goal and 8 assists for 9 points in just 4 games. Known for his size at 6’3″ and 163 lbs, Ryland brings a solid two-way game, with an ability to contribute offensively while playing a physical and responsible brand of defense.

Molde will reunite with his former teammate Kierin Osberg, who also signed with the Kodiaks for the upcoming season, after they played together during the 2021/22 season. The team is excited to have this duo join the roster and build on their prior chemistry.
