Transaction | Kodiaks Sign Jackson Schneider

CAMROSE — The Camrose Kodiaks have signed defenseman Jackson Schneider, the club announced Friday.

Schneider, 17, joins the Kodiaks with a solid defensive presence, born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

In the 2023-24 season, Schneider played with the Calgary Buffaloes U18 AAA in the AEHL U18, where he recorded 22 points in 33 regular-season games and added 3 points in 10 playoff games. His standout performance earned him recognition as part of the AEHL U18 First All-Star Team and contributed to the team’s championship success.

Schneider also made an appearance with the Sherwood Park Crusaders in the AJHL, where he scored 1 goal in 1 game.

Standing at 5’11” and weighing 170 lbs, Schneider’s left-handed shot and defensive prowess will be an asset to the Kodiaks as they prepare for Main Camp starting August 19th.
