CAMROSE, AB (June 22, 2023) – Head Coach & GM Derrick Martin is proud and excited to announce the signing of 2006 forward Spencer Masters.
Masters, who turned 17 in March, spent last season with the Edmonton Jr. Oilers Blue U18 AAA tallying 19 points in 38 games.
Coach Martin had this to say “Spencer is a big, strong centerman who we are excited to add to our group. He is physically and mentally mature for his age and his IQ away from the puck is rare for a player his age. As he settles into junior hockey we feel strongly that he will add to his offensive game and become a menacing player for teams to play against. We are excited to add Spencer to the Kodiaks family”.
Masters will look to suit up with Kodiaks September 16th at the Encana Arena as they open the season vs the Olds Grizzlys.
