Defenseman, Jarod Newell has been selected as the Boston Pizza Hardest Working Kodiak for the month of September. Jarod was chosen as the Hardest Working Kodiak during the September 23rd Wildrose Co-op Kodiaks Hockey broadcast from Blackfalds. During the month, the 20-year-old led the team in hits (16) and tied for the lead in blocked shots with 5 while chipping in with four assists. Jarod will receive a $100 gift credit from Boston Pizza, Camrose.
