Kodiaks hire Blair Becker as Assistant Coach

Camrose, AB – The Camrose Kodiaks are thrilled to announce the return of Blair Becker to our coaching staff as an Assistant Coach. Becker, a familiar face to the Kodiak organization, brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of our team’s culture and values.

Blair Becker previously served on the Kodiaks’ coaching staff from 2008 to 2014 and again from 2016 to 2018. During his time with the Kodiaks, Becker played a pivotal role in shaping the team’s success and fostering a winning culture. His extensive background in coaching, including stints with the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL), Hockey Canada’s U17 program, and Hockey Alberta, makes him a valuable asset to our organization.

“We are excited to welcome Blair back to the Kodiaks,” said Eric Kroetch, Kodiaks General Manager. “His previous contributions to our team were significant, and his experience and passion for the game will be instrumental as we work to restore our winning tradition here in Camrose.”

Blair Becker will join returning Assistant Coach Shawn Germain on the Kodiaks’ bench. Together, they look to combine their knowledge and experience to guide the team to success under Head Coach Dean Fedorchuk. Becker is eager to rejoin the Kodiaks and contribute to the team’s growth and achievements.

“I’m thrilled to be coming back to Camrose,” Becker said. “The Kodiaks have always been a special place for me, and I’m looking forward to working alongside Dean & Shawn and the rest of the staff. Our goal is to bring back the winning culture and help the team reach new heights.”

The Camrose Kodiaks are excited about this new chapter and confident that Blair Becker’s return will be a key factor in achieving our goals for the upcoming season.
