The Camrose Kodiaks are excited to announce the signing of 2009-born defencemen Bode Edwards for the 2026/27 season.
Bode joins the Kodiaks after an impressive season with the Calgary Buffaloes U18 AAA program, where he showcased his development at both ends of the ice. After initially standing out as a dependable, shutdown defencemen, Bode elevated his offensive game in his second full U18 season, recording 30 points in 38 games.
Bode first attended our 2025 Spring Camp before earning an invitation back to Main Camp, where his performance secured him a Letter of Intent. He also gained valuable AJHL experience last season, affiliating with the Kodiaks and appearing in three games. That experience has positioned him well as he prepares to compete for a full-time role this September.
