CAMROSE, AB — The Camrose Kodiaks are excited to announce the signing of Red Deer-born forward Will Jamieson for the 2024-25 season!
Jamieson brings WHL experience to the Kodiaks, having played 53 games between the Spokane Chiefs, Everett Silvertips, and Seattle Thunderbirds. The 5’11”, 179-lb left-shot forward is known for his two-way play and competitive edge on the ice.
Before his WHL career, Jamieson suited up for the Red Deer Chiefs U18 AAA program in the AEHL during the 2022-23 season, posting 27 points (8G, 19A) in 35 games while tallying 103 penalty minutes. His physical presence and ability to contribute offensively will make him a valuable addition to the Kodiaks’ lineup.
“We’re thrilled to add a player of Will’s caliber to our team,” said the Kodiaks’ Hockey Operations Staff. “His WHL experience and grit will be a huge asset to our forward group, and we’re looking forward to seeing him thrive in Camrose.”
The Camrose Kodiaks welcome Will Jamieson to the pack as they continue their 2024-25 campaign.
In other news Kodiaks have traded forward Cole Balkovec (2006) to the Bonnyville Pontiacs in exchange for a Player Development Fee (PDF).
