Kodiaks Sign Defenseman Hudson Roberge for 2025/26 Season

Camrose, AB The Camrose Kodiaks are excited to announce the signing of Hudson Roberge, a towering defenseman from West Kelowna, BC, for the 2025/26 season. Standing at 6’7″ and 225 lbs, Hudson brings both size and physicality to our blue line, making him an exciting addition to our defensive core.

Hudson joins the Kodiaks after a strong season with RINK HA Kelowna U18 Prep in the CSSHL, where he recorded 3 goals, 2 assists, and 5 points in 30 games. He also played a key role in helping his team win the CSSHL U18 Championship, showcasing his shutdown abilities in big games. Known for his physicality and leadership, Hudson’s size and defensive presence make him an ideal fit for the Kodiaks’ back end.

After starting the 2024-25 season with the Kelowna Chiefs in the KIJHL, Hudson returned to RINK HA Kelowna U18 Prep, where he continued to contribute with 1 goal and 6 assists in 20 regular-season games, and played a key role in the team’s success in the playoffs.

“We believe Hudson has all the tools to be a key player for us moving forward,” Kroetch continued. “His size, defensive reliability, and leadership make him a perfect fit for our team, and we’re looking forward to watching him grow and make an impact in the 2025/26 season.”
