The Camrose Kodiaks are proud to announce the commitment of 2008-born defenceman Cameron Johnson for the 2026/27 season.
Cameron first joined the Kodiaks at our 2024/25 Main Camp, earned and became an affiliate player with the team through his strong play and work ethic. A reliable presence on the blue line, Cameron excels at reading the game, staying composed under pressure, and making smart decisions in his own zone. His commitment to playing a responsible, team-first defensive game makes him a great addition to our roster.
Cameron shared his thoughts on joining the Kodiaks:
“Choosing Camrose was an easy decision for me. My time affiliating with the team last season gave me a firsthand look at the culture, coaching staff, and commitment to player development. It’s an organization I wanted to be part of. I’m excited for the opportunity ahead and look forward to contributing in any way I can while continuing to develop as a player and person.”
