Kodiaks Sign Forward Tavish Beagle for 2025/26 Season

Camrose, AB – The Camrose Kodiaks are thrilled to announce the signing of Tavish Beagle, an exciting forward from Rimbey, Alberta, for the 2025/26 season. Beagle joins the Kodiaks after an outstanding season with the Red Deer Chiefs U18 AAA, where he ranked 3rd in the AEHL U18AAA in points. Tavish also gained valuable experience with the Kodiaks as an affiliate player last season, contributing 2 goals and 3 assists in 5 games.

Standing at 5’11” and weighing 181 lbs, Beagle is a dynamic forward known for his offensive ability and playmaking. In 36 regular season games with the Red Deer Chiefs U18 AAA, Tavish recorded 23 goals and 28 assists for 51 points and 30 penalty minutes. His point-per-game performance with the Kodiaks as an AP further showcased his potential to make an immediate impact at the AJHL level.

“We are excited to officially welcome Tavish to the Kodiaks for the 2025/26 season,” said General Manager Eric Kroetch. “Tavish had an impressive season in the AEHL U18AAA and showed he’s ready for the next challenge with us. His ability to score and create plays makes him a valuable addition to our forward group, and we’re looking forward to seeing him continue to develop.”

Beagle’s combination of skill, hockey IQ, and competitiveness will be key as the Kodiaks look to build on last season’s success. The team is excited to watch Tavish continue to grow and contribute to the team’s goals in the 2025/26 season. Tavish will see a familiar face in the locker room as he is set to join his cousin Keegan (Beagle) on the Kodiaks for the 25/26 season.

“We believe Tavish is a player with a very bright future,” Kroetch continued. “We’re eager to see how he progresses with the team and what he brings to the lineup in the upcoming season.”
